When not to pick it

Skip DigitalOcean for very large enterprise workloads where AWS depth matters. Skip for cost-leaders; Hetzner is meaningfully cheaper.

My take

DigitalOcean is the safe middle-ground cloud. Pricing is reasonable, DX is good, the catalogue is wide enough for most apps.
